Sri Amma Vaishnavi Ramakrishna
Sri Amma Vaishanvai RamaKrishna was born to a devout brahmin couple, Sri Surya Narayana and Savitramma on the 26th of September, 1956 in the beautiful town of Konetipuram,Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Amma got married on the 2nd of March 1980 to Padmaja. The couple was blessed with two daughters Sunitha and Soujanya. Amma lead a normal life, going about the usual responsibilites of the family. During the Navaratri festival in 1994, Goddess Vaishanavi has incarnated as Amma Vaishanavi RamaKrishna. In the years that followed, Amma has blessed us all with her gracious presence.
With Amma guiding us, Vaishanvi peetham has undertaken numerous social work activities and brought joy to many people. Every year in May, Amma performs a Maha Vaishnavi yagam for the welfare of the world. Thousands of devotees from across the world attend this event to witness Amma single handedly perform all the rituals required for this Yagam. Every Pournami (Full moon), Amma performs a pooja and offers everyone "Theertham" for curing Diabetes. It's a well known fact that if people suffering from Diabetes drink this "Theertham" three consecutive months observe normalcy in health.
